Youth Apprentice Position Details

We’re looking for high school students who want to build their career in the construction industry. Our three-step program will guide you through all the components of the business including structural design, production carpentry and field carpentry. Our mentors will guide you through assisting the design department with projects, building components in our controlled environment, getting them delivered to our job site and then watching the building come to life as it gets framed and assembled. If you have a passion for building and you’re a go-getter who is eager to get your feet wet in the construction industry—this is the apprenticeship for you!

You are:

  • Enrolled in high school and have the ability to meet the requirements of the Youth Apprentice Program
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office
  • An excellent listener who is able to understand instructions
  • Adept at asking clear questions
  • A skilled problem solver who is respectful to others and who can meet deadlines
  • Able to follow safety rules and regulations to maintain a clean and safe work envi- ronment
  • Agile and ready to put in the extra effort to get the job done right

We prefer you have:

  • An eagerness to learn
  • A can-do attitude
  • An interest in the construction industry
  • A mechanically inclined mind
