Safety Training & Compliance Coordinator (30 Hours Per Week)

Are you a dedicated professional with effective teaching skills and real-world experience in the subject of safety? If so, under the construction and manufacturing operations of Blenker Companies, Inc. and the transportation division of Our House Limited, you’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of safety and industry related curricula, as well as federal, state and local governments safety programs and plans.

You have:

  • A high school diploma
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, as well as state and federal safety guidelines
  • A proven ability to teach and effectively communicate in group settings
  • The dexterity to handle all tasks with discretion and confidentiality
  • An analytical ability to interpret situations, identify causes and preventive measures, if appropriate
  • An inquisitive mindset that is dedicated to improving current safety equipment, resources, practices and training
  • An ability to respond to situations swiftly, carefully and objectively

We prefer you have:

  • Three to five years of experience within in a safety role
  • A two-year or four-year college degree, desirably with an emphasis in occupational safety and health or related field
  • Experience within a manufacturing or construction environment
  • The necessary certifications to train OSHA 10, 30 and 500 courses
