The February 9,2009 issue of the Business News contains an article by Ken Wysocky titled “Blenker Has Been Building for the Future.” Wysocky’s article talks about Blenker Companies, Inc and their ability to keep up in the slow economy by their added services such as selling pre-engineered components, offering full-lines of building materials, and using their own transportation company.

In his article, Wysocky explains that the mixture of Blenker’s pre-engineered components, their hardworking and cross trained employees and the advantage of having their own transportation company provides their customers with quick, efficient, and hight quality products. Blenker also takes the time to personally work with their customers and help them work with their budget to save on certain areas to focus on factors that add value to their project. By having many companies in one, Blenker is able to stay in business and continue to grow.
