Hello, and welcome to Blenker Building Systems! My name is Sky (Short for Schuyler) Huston and I’ve worked in the residential construction industry for 30+ years, 25 of those years as a builder. I understand how builders think and I’ve worked directly with hundreds of satisfied customers. My home is in western Illinois, so I travel to see my customers and meet them on their turf. (Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan) I’m a past president of the Western Illinois Homebuilders Association and currently a member of the Springfield Area Homebuilders Association (Springfield, Illinois), Illinois Homebuilders Association, and the National Homebuilders Association. My wife and partner of 30 years, Jody and I have built our own home several times and we know how important the little things are that make a house a “home”. We have 3 grown daughters and 6 grandchildren who keep us busy in our “free” time. Never a dull moment!
My goal is to help builders and customers understand and benefit from the advantages of panelized construction.
